Ms. Ann Gilman

Ms. Ann

My name is Ms. Ann Gilman. I am the administrator and CEO for Amazing Beginnings, Eagan Montessori Academy North and Eagan Montessori South schools.

My husband, Dr. Phil, and I have been married for 35 years and have two children. We have been living in Eagan for the past 20 years.

I first started working with Eagan Montessori about 13 years ago. I really enjoyed my work in the new career that I had chosen after working with my husband in his Chiropractic office for almost 20 years. So much so, that I decided to open a second school in 2009, Amazing Beginnings Montessori. Then again in 2016 I opened Eagan Montessori South.

As a child growing up in Sri-Lanka, I attended Montessori school and still remember some of my favorite Montessori activities. All my siblings attended Montessori schools in Sri-Lanka and they are all very successful adults in their chosen fields. I experienced firsthand the power of a good Montessori education.

Even the founders of Google credited their success to their “Montessori experience,” in an interview they did with Barbra Walters.

I am in this profession because I feel that our children are the future of the world, and I want to be a part of shaping that future. I do not take this job lightly.

I take it upon myself, to travel to different states and foreign countries to visit other preschools and understand how different programs work. This experience helps me to incorporate the best of what I learn to make our schools the best they can be.

I look forward to getting to know all the parents and the students that attend all of my schools. My fervent prayer is that all the children who go through our schools will become wonderful, kind, loving and smart adults that will make amazing contributions to society, just because they spent their formative years at one of my Montessori schools.

Ms. Molly Fry

Ms. Molly

Hello my name is Molly Fry. I have been at Amazing Beginnings Montessori in Inver Grove Heights for over 3 years as the Director. I love working with the Amazing Beginnings Montessori School team and the families!

I have been married for 18 years and have four children Jacob, Isabelle, Landon, and Zadie. I have worked with children for many years as a child care provider and teacher. From High school to college I have had a great deal of hands on experience with children and their families.

I started my college career at University of Minnesota Duluth and transferred to Bethel University and graduated in December of 2002 with a teaching license, K-8. I have earned a Technology in Education certificate from University of Minnesota Duluth. I also attended graduate school at Bethel University and earned K-12 Literacy License.

I worked at Mackin Educational Resources for 7 years in the school library field. I loved working with children's books but I missed the classroom, so I made a change. I worked for Celebration Academy in the infant room, 2nd /3rd grade classroom and spent the last few years in preschool/pre-K classroom, for a total of just over four years.

Ms. Jess

Ms. Jess

My name is Ms. Jess and I am a teacher here at Amazing Beginnings Montessori.

I grew up in the Midwest in both Colorado and South Dakota. I attended Spearfish High School in Spearfish, South Dakota before attending North Dakota State University in Fargo. I played soccer for the Bison while I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education.

My love of soccer led me to coaching at an early age. I coached soccer for premier clubs in both Fargo & the Twin Cities working with 8-year-olds up to 16-year-olds. I have volunteered at many elementary schools over the years and worked in after school programs as well.

I moved to Minnesota 7 years ago and currently reside in Newport. I have many hobbies including a love for art. I currently create jewelry, coasters, paintings & more for craft shows. I also do photography and specialize in children's photography. I love many sports including soccer, basketball, and snowboarding. I enjoy nature and the outdoors and most importantly I love working with kids. They are our future and their eagerness to learn is inspiring.

I have a daughter currently attending Amazing Beginnings Montessori and am a huge supporter of the Montessori Method of teaching. I love the hands on approach that it gives children to learn while allowing their creative natures to be brought out.

I love the staff and all the children here and their unique personalities that they have. They truly are a joy to work with. I hope that I can make a difference in all the children's lives and help them on their way to a bright future!

I have been training in the Montessori Method at Amazing Beginnings Montessori and will start my official Montessori teacher training this summer.

Ms. Ta

Ms. Ta

My name is Ta; I was born in Ohio, and have lived in Minnesota for almost 8 years. I have five sisters and only one brother. I am a middle child of seven so I have some first-hand experience of taking care of children! I also have had experience with babysitting some of my nieces and nephews.

I enjoy working with kids because they can make you forget about your bad day. I feel that we as educators can also learn from children. I hope to make a difference in the lives of children by helping them overcome difficult obstacles, and guide them in the right direction.

I am currently attending Saint Paul College for Early Childhood Development. This would be my second year in college since I started my major in Early Childhood Development. Throughout my schooling I have learned many things about providing safe, clean, and trusting care for children. I know that by keeping the environment safe and clean I can help children have a better place to learn with no stress.

I am very interested in being able to guide children to further their knowledge and skills. While working with my younger siblings and nieces and nephews, I have gained a range of skills and knowledge to help guide children to learn and engage in new challenges.

I have 2 beautiful daughters who have taught me a lot as well. I am excited to be able to learn with the children while working with them at Amazing Beginnings Montessori!

Yours Sincerely, Ta Vang
